It is merely educated and learning card counting helps you win most of the time. The technique is not as hard as it seems, it is a science, not magic. It involves simple math of determining the probability of the value of your hand really quickly. You don’t really have to be a wiz kid but if you practice and learn the art of card counting you are sure to win loads of money. How Online Blackjack Card Counting Works It is not as difficult as it sounds. The card counter must consider the number of decks in the game while simultaneously considering the number of high value cards that remain in the deck. The game follows the standard card values for all variations of online blackjack. Cards 2-10 are valued at 10, all face cards counted 10 and Ace which counts either 1 or 11 depending on which value makes a better total. Take for example, you are dealt with cards A, 2, 10, 3, 4, then the value of Ace is counted as one which gives you a higher chance to win rather than it being counted as 11 that totals to 30 and you automatically lose the game. The dealer gives out two cards both face up after you have placed your bet. He deals himself two more cards one that is faces up and the other turned over. You are now allowed to make your choice of ‘hitting’ which means requesting for more cards to increase the value of your hand or ‘standing’ when you have reached a preferred total and stops the dealer from giving you any more cards. If both you and the dealer have totals to an equal amount then the result is a tie, and this is called a Push. Here the bets are returned. Online Blackjack Card Counting Strategy & Tips The basic strategy in online blackjack card counting is to remember in the deck of cards the proportion of higher cards like Tens or Aces to the lower value cards. A higher proportion of low cards compared to high value cards is good for the dealer. Card counting mainly deals in tracking and memorizing certain cards. It requires more than simple addition and division but requires the ability and presence of mind to count while concentrating on the game as well. The probability of blackjack card counting determines the odds that are based on a number of possibilities taking into consideration the total number of desired outcomes over the total number of potential outcomes. For instance, • The possibility of getting a King in a 52-card deck is 4:52, or by dividing these numbers by 4 you get 1:12, which means a King is bound to show up for every 12 cards you draw. • If one of the cards has been removed, the probability of an Ace is 4:51. • On drawing an Ace again, the probability of drawing the King, is 1:12 x 4:52 = 1.153 Another basic system of online blackjack card counting is the Hi-Lo system. The value of each card is a positive, a negative or a zero. The cards with the value 2 to 6 count +1. Cards such as 7, 8 and 9 count zero. All face cards and 10 are -1. The Hi-Lo System is balanced when the positive and negative points are equal. You can count and adjust the total of cards every time you are dealt with cards.
